When facing the networked electronic journals that the publish type, transmission and order method are different from the traditional printed journals, it is necessary for the library to establish a standard for evaluating and making decisions for acquiring the networked electronic journals to offer user new and correct information. The checklist for evaluation of electronic journal on network contains eleven elements: authority, completeness, suitability, reference and research valuation, currency, readability,usability, search function, license agreement, existing collection of the subject, and other places where they are available.
