視聽服務

本研究於2009年以問卷調查方式，進行國立臺灣大學圖書館多媒體服務中心讀者使用情形與滿意度調查，並與2001年之調查結果作一比較。問卷內容為分三部份：一為填答者之個人基本資料；二為利用多媒體服務中心的情況；三為對多媒體服務中心之服務內容、館藏利用與使用環境的滿意度。研究結果發現：使用者以大學部學生最多，所屬學院別以文學院最多；讀者使用該中心之目的以「休閒娛樂」最多，「自我學習或個人研究需要」次之；讀者對於各項服務滿意度情形，以「多媒體服務中心空間寬敞舒適」的滿意度最高，其次為「工作人員的服務態度親切，能盡力答覆讀者問題」，滿意度最低為「視聽資料指定參考教材的使用」與「電腦隨選資訊系統（IOD）的使用」。整體而言，讀者對於各項服務滿意度，趨近於「滿意」的程度。與2001年調查之比較發現：各學院讀者人次比例仍以文學院讀者最多；讀者使用該中心的目的，皆以「休閒娛樂」為主且有增加現象；視聽館藏滿足讀者需求的情形增加；讀者對於該中心之整體滿意度有小幅度的提升。

The study examines the user’s satisfaction level with the Multimedia Center of the National Taiwan University Library. Conducted in 2009, the survey aims to analyze users' characteristics, perception and satisfaction with the services, collection, and environment of the Multimedia Center. The results show that undergraduates are the most frequent users. The majority are from the College of Liberal Arts. The main purpose of using the center is for entertainment, followed by learning and research. Generally users are satisfied with the multimedia services. They are pleased with the cozy, commodious space and the always friendly and approachable staff. Yet it is found that many users hope to improve the arrangement of the course reserve collection and Information on Demand (IOD) services. Compared with the previous study in 2001, the current research shows similar findings such as students of the College of Liberal Arts are top users, and entertainment remains the top choice. Presently users are more satisfied with the collection as well as the overall services of the Multimedia Center of the library.

本文係參酌 €"Guidelines for Media Resources in Academic Libraries€"與 "Guidelines for Audiovisual and Multimedia Materials in Libraries and Other Institutions"€兩份視聽媒體指導方針內容，來論述目前臺灣地區大學圖書館視聽服務有待克服的問題有：視聽服務的組織編制、人員的養成與繼續教育、與校內其他相關單位的合作、視聽媒體整合至教學課程、視聽媒體內容的保存、視聽媒體的編目、視聽媒體的館際合作等問題。

According to the "Guidelines for Media Resources in Academic Libraries" and "Guidelines for Audiovisual and Multimedia Materials in Libraries and Other Institutions" which are proposed by ALA and IFLA respectively, libraries may design and provide their audiovisual services with these guiding principles. However, the content and manipulation of services would be varied in librarianship due to the worldwide dissimilar conditions. From the perspective of these two guidelines, this article discusses the administration of audiovisual services in Taiwanese librarianship. Especially, it focuses on difficulties that academic libraries have to overcome, including organization of audiovisual services department, cultivation and continuing education of librarians, cooperation between library and intramural units, integration of audiovisual services into curricula, preservation and classification of audiovisual materials, and interlibrary loan of audiovisual materials among academic libraries.

近年來，由於電腦與通訊技術的快速發展，各種新媒體更是如雨後春筍般地出現，迅速地傳達各項資訊，在這個充滿媒體的資訊社會裏，大學圖書館在面對新媒體的衝擊下，為了維護其在大學裏原有的重要角色，在行動上必須改變以往靜態、被動的服務為積極、主動提供資源的服務；在資料的收藏範圍上亦必須容納更多的資訊時代產物，才能夠確實地協助與提供教學和研究活動。本文試圖從視聽媒體在教學與學習上所扮演的角色和視聽(媒體)中心的服務層次，闡明在資訊與多媒體時代裏，大學圖書館視聽(媒體)中心的定位與任務，以及其所應達成的服務層次。此外，並以國立臺灣大學圖書館新館所規劃的視聽服務為例，來探討未來大學圖書館視聽服務的新方向。

Recently, Due to the rapid development of computer and telecommunication technology, many kinds of new media, such as CD-ROM, VCD, Interactive software, etc. are appeared and which are greatly impacting on the society. In the coming information and multimedia age, the universtiy libraries must provides new media collections and services to meet the teaching ,learning & research needs. The purpose of this paper is to discuss what kinds of audio-visual and media services shall be provided by the university library in the information age. Firstly, the author emphasizes the importance of AV & media resources in instructional process; Secondly, interduces the role of university library media center; and finally, describes the future planning of media services at the National Taiwan University Library.

視聽媒體因其屬性的不同, 可以在教學上扮演各種不同的角色。本文簡述媒體布教學上的角色、媒體教學效果與媒體的發展趨勢外, 並試圖以臺灣大學圖書館多媒體服務中心推廣活動為主軸, 討論圖書館推展視聽媒體在教學上的應用, 在館員與教師的實際互動中, 思想與改進圖書館多媒體服務的內涵。

Each kind of audio-visual media can play a role to enhance teaching. This paper introduces the extension activity of the Multimedia Center at the National Taiwan University Library, the role of media in teaching, its effects on teaching and the trends of media. Also, it discusses the application of multimedia in teaching and rethinks how to enrich the quality of multimedia services through the interaction between librarians and professors.
