大學圖書館電子書提供管道與使用者取用行為之研究

摘要

圖書館網站是使用者取得電子書的主要管道之一,由於電子書資源分散於各平台,需仰賴圖書館將其妥善整理與呈現。本研究選取兩所公立大學圖書館作為研究場域,從電子書使用者與館員兩個面向進行探討,共回收741 份使用者問卷,設計5 項查詢任務,邀請25 位有電子書使用經驗的學生接受測試與訪談,並且透過8 位館員瞭解圖書館提供電子書取用管道與編目現況。研究結果顯示,五成六的學生不曾使用過圖書館的電子書,有使用經驗者主要透過線上公用目錄取用電子書,並且優先選擇網頁階層數較少的管道。在不同查詢管道中,若使用者不清楚預設檢索點,會對查詢結果感到不滿意;若系統按鈕詞彙無法詮釋其功能意涵,將影響使用者獲取電子書。研究結果證實,圖書館為電子書加值目次、書影,或於書目紀錄中著錄平台名稱,在電子書清單中提供主題分類或熱門排序,皆有助於使用者辨識、選擇及獲取電子書。

Title A Study of E-book Accessing Channels and User Behavior in University Libraries

Abstract

The library website is one of the main channels for users to access e-books. Because e-books are dispersed among various platforms, users rely on librarians to organize and present e-books. This study investigates e-book users and librarians from two university libraries. 741 questionnaires were received. 25 students who had previous experience of using e-books were assigned 5 tasks and were interviewed. 8 librarians were investigated, in order to research how librarians catalogue and provide e-books. The results show that 56% students never used e-books that served by libraries. Students who had read e-books mostly accessed e-books by OPAC and preferred the layer from library homepage as low as possible. In different channels, if users don't know the default value of access point, they might be not satisfied with the search result. If the name of buttons doesn’t denote actual function of that button, it would affect the users when they attempt to access e-books. The results confirm that librarians can help users identify, select and obtain e-books by enhancing contents and covers of e-books, describing e-book platform name on bibliographic records, or providing subject classification and popular database.

摘要

在資訊與醫療科技發展快速的時代,醫院圖書館身為提供豐富醫療資源的使命更加重要,然而醫學圖書館的採購經費永遠趕不上醫學資源的成長,因此各醫學圖書館之間的結盟,以利進行合作並共享資源日顯重要。本文針對全台十間國軍醫院圖書館所組成「國軍醫院聯合圖書館」的建置與發展進行研究。藉由文獻探討與次級內部資料分析,瞭解國內外醫學圖書館聯盟、國軍醫院聯合圖書館建置背景、特色、成果與發展願景。

Abstract

Due to the rapid development of information and medical technology, medical libraries’ role as a medical resource provider becomes increasingly important and volatile. However, the purchasing fund of medical libraries fails to catch up with the cost of medical resources. Forming a consortium to facilitate cooperation and share resources is an alternative choice for medical libraries. This study focuses on the establishment and development of the Digital Library Alliance of National Military Hospitals, which consists of ten national military hospital libraries in Taiwan. Through literature review and secondary internal data analysis, this study aims to explore the medical libraries consortium home and abroad and the establishment background, characteristics, and future development of Digital Library Alliance of National Military Hospitals.

臺灣大學典藏桃木文庫《律》版本及其頭注之探究

摘要

國立臺灣大學典藏日本善本書《桃木文庫》當中,《律》之標題的書有兩種,一種是有頭注的版本,一種是沒有頭注的版本。筆者曾將此大略介紹於〈台湾大学所蔵『桃木文庫』『長沢文庫』における律令関係史料について─ 『律』と『令義解』を中心に─〉《法史学研究会会報第15 号》一文當中。本文擬針對《桃木文庫》中有頭注的《律》之版本及其頭注深入探討。

Title Discussion of the Book “Ritsu” in Momokibunko: Its Edition andAnnotation in the National Taiwan University Collection

Abstract

The rare books in Momokibunko have been collected in the National Taiwan University Collection. Among these books, there are two editions of Ritsu: one is an edition with annotations, and the other is an edition without annotations. The author has provided an overview to discuss Momokibunko and Nagasawabunko in the Japanese journal “Bulletin of the Society for Legal History NO.15” Based on the primary study,this article focuses on the edition of Ritsu with annotations in Momokibunko and puts more emphasis on its annotations.

公共圖書館提供身心障礙讀者服務問題之探討

摘要

圖書館有義務提供身心障礙讀者館藏資源與服務,以消弭取用資訊之落差,臺灣《身心障礙者權益保障法》與《圖書館法》等法規修訂後,圖書館面臨提供身心障礙讀者服務之要求。本文探討面對此一知識取用平等趨勢與法規要求環境下,圖書館對於身心障礙讀者服務的看法與提供服務之營運問題。首先採文獻分析探討圖書館提供身心障礙讀者服務之內容與要求,並藉由深度訪談方式,瞭解國內圖書館實務作業情形及其對於此項業務發展的觀點。研究發現國內圖書館服務身心障礙讀者之館藏資源與空間設備普遍不足,館藏資源雖可線上查詢但館際資源難以共享,館員教育訓練制度與業務輔導體系有待建立。最終綜合研究分析結果,擬具國內圖書館發展身心障礙讀者服務之建議。

Title A Study on Public Library Services for People with Disabilities in Taiwan

Abstract

Libraries have to provide resources and services for people with disabilities to eliminate barriers in information access. After the amendment of “People with Disabilities Rights Protection Act” and “Library Act” launched the protection for the knowledge rights of people with disabilities in Taiwan, libraries have had to satisfy the needs of people with disabilities. This paper discusses how Taiwan’s libraries respond to the regulatory requirements and meet the trend of equal access when providing services to people with disabilities. This study firstly analyzes the current situations of library services for people with disabilities through literature review. In-depth interviews are taken to understand the practical situations and opinions of libraries regarding this matter. The results indicate that the collection resources and relevant equipment in Taiwan’s libraries are generally insufficient. Although the library resources can be accessed online, the resources are hard to be shared through interlibrary cooperation. Librarian training and counseling system have to be established too. According to the final results and analysis, suggestions for the public libraries to develop user services for people with disabilities are proposed for reference.

從個案研究探討大學圖書館研究共享空間

摘要

近幾年圖書館空間規劃成為館員們討論的話題,隨著時代的進步,大學圖書館對於空間規劃亦須精進研究。近年來國外推出研究共享空間的概念,此一空間是專為大學教師與研究生打造,也是大學圖書館的創新服務。目前臺灣鮮少有對於研究共享空間的研究與討論,因此本研究將會以(1) 探討圖書館研究共享空間的意義與內涵;(2) 探討大學教師與研究生的研究任務與需求;(3) 探討圖書館共享空間個案以提出結論與建議作為研究目的進行探討,並透過文獻分析法及三件個案來了解該主題的相關資訊,並於最後提出結論和建議。

Title Conceptualizing Research Commons for University Libraries with Perspectives of Case Studies

Abstract

In recent years, the library space planning has become the topic of discussion. With the progress of time, academic libraries also need to do studies on space planning. The concept of research commons is a new idea. This space is designed for university faculty and graduate students. In Taiwan, there are few research studies and discussions about research commons. Hence, this paper first explores the significance and content of library research commons. Then it investigates the research tasks and needs of university teachers and graduate students. Third, this study focuses on the case of the research commons to propose suggestions. Through literature analysis and case studies, this study aims to understand the relevant information about this topic. In conclusion, we will also propose recommendations.

大學圖書館之服務設計與創新

摘要

大學圖書館扮演著促進知識創造與多元學習的重要角色。所謂「圖書館是大學的心臟」,如同規律運動是維護人體健康的關鍵,服務設計與創新是促進圖書館健康發展的規律運動。本文檢視在數位科技環境下大學圖書館的服務,以服務科學的服務系統觀和價值共創論來看大學圖書館的生態系統與價值共創的必要。本文並且鋪陳服務設計的心法(U 型理論)與方法論(雙鑽石模型與設計思考)以清大圖書館的服務設計與創新案例為呼應,作為大學圖書館服務創新的參考。

Abstract

A university library plays an important role in facilitating knowledge creation and a variety of learning activities. A library can be regarded as the heart of a university. If regular exercises are the key to maintain a person’s health, then service design and innovation can be viewed as the regular exercises for the healthy development of a library. This paper aims to examine the services offered by university libraries in the digital technology era and to identify the service ecosystem and the necessity of value co-creation by using the system view and value co-creation concept in service science. Taking the service design and innovation initiatives in National Tsing Hua University library as a case study, this paper demonstrates the application of service design principle to innovating library services based on the Theory U and the service design methods based on the Double Diamond Model and Design Thinking. The process and outcomes shed light on the service innovation practices for university libraries.
