摘要

我國自民國70 年代起建構大型行政資訊系統,開始建置各種網站傳遞資訊,提供多元的政府資訊服務;另一方面,屬於民生需求的醫療健康資訊領域開始嶄露頭角,消費者健康資訊相關議題亦開始被廣泛討論。本研究以我國衛生福利機關(構)網站及其提供之相關資源共62 個網站為研究對象,藉內容分析法有系統地分析其所提供之消費者健康資訊現況、內容特性與網站提供之功能與服務。根據分析結果,可知(1) 我國政府衛生福利機關(構)建置的消費者健康資訊網站可分為10 大類,其中以醫護產業資訊類網站數量最多;(2) 與公益團體或民間組織合作提供相關資源,提升政府資訊親近性;(3) 網站提供之資訊類型以新聞訊息為主;(4) 資訊內容以促進大眾健康之訊息比例最高;(5) 網站提供的健康資訊適用對象以一般民眾為主;(6) 網站提供的服務以訊息傳遞服務為主;(7) 網站整體功能以資源查詢與宣導為主。

Abstract

Since the 1980s, the Taiwan government started to develop the E-government, with websites constructed to diffuse resources. Meanwhile, the rise of consumer awareness has led to the growth of consumer-oriented websites, providing information of medicine and health and resulting in wide discussions on health-related issues. Therefore, this research adopted the content analysis method to analyze the consumer health information from 62 websites of government agencies of health and welfare. The study employed a systematic approach to exploring the status of consumer health information, characteristics, website contents and provided services. In summary, this study proposed the following findings. First, the developers of the websites include government agencies, non-profit organizations, and non-government organizations. Second, most of the websites fall into the “healthcare industry” category. Third, the major type of information provided is “news”. Fourth, the main contents are about health promotion. Fifth, most of the websites are for everyday users. Sixth, the websites mainly provide “information delivery” services. Seventh, most of the websites are information- and-resource-based for policy promotions.

新北市平溪區銀髮族居民資訊需求與資訊行為特性

摘要

新北市平溪區被稱為全台灣最老的社區,本研究透過參與式觀察及深入訪談,欲瞭解該地方銀髮族生活情況、資訊需求、和資訊行為特性,期望藉以強化社區銀髮族資訊獲取的機會。研究分析後發現:長者的生活和資訊需求高度簡化,且醫療保健資訊的取得最需改善。他們除了關心個人的需求外,也關心社區內公共議題。資訊傳遞的管道則是以口語傳播最為盛行,也最重要。長者的資訊行為中,生理功能的退化和環境限制是最主要的障礙。

Abstract

Pinxi District, New Taipei City, is called “the most elderly community in Taiwan”. This research investigates the life style, information needs, and information seeking behaviors of the elderly in Pinxi District by using participant observation and in-depth interview as research methods, in hopes of invastigating how to strengthen the capability of the elderly dwellers in Pinxi District in acquiring information. The result shows that: the lifestyle of the elderly simplifies their information needs, and the ways of their acquisition of health information needs to be improved urgently. In addition to personal information needs, they also have needs to access public issues in their community. Oral communication is the most important channel to transfer information. Physiological degeneration and environment limitation are the main barriers for the elderly to acquire information.

大學生於社群網站之資訊揭露現象分析

摘要

社群網站是一個相當年輕,但卻快速成長的網路現象。為了解大學生於社群網站的資訊揭露行為,本研究以社會交換理論( Social Exchange Theory, SET)為基礎,探索大學生使用 Facebook之自我揭露行為。研究結果顯示參與社群網站大學生之資訊揭露行為模式,符合 SET的主張,同時得知大學生參與社群網站的動機、行動、報酬及成本等因素為何。最後除提出一個大學生於社群網站資訊揭露的行為模式外,並提出建議供教育人員及社群網站經營者參考,以建構健全的網路社群。

Abstract

Online social networks (OSNs) are emerging as a young but rapidly growing phenomenon on the web. This study attempts to explore the behaviors and factors of self-disclosure of online social network (OSN) users with the theoretical insights of Social Exchange Theory (SET). The results show that self-disclosure behavioral patterns of college students are in line with the idea of SET, it also addresses college students’ motivation, rational action, rewards, and cost factors of joining Facebook. Finally, a research model of information disclosure behavior pattern for college students is addressed. We also provide insights for OSN service providers and educators to cultivate a healthier online community.

美國公共圖書館網站社會責任內容分析研究

摘要

網際網路因其多樣的呈現方式,加上網路資源取得的便利性及普及性,越來越多營利及非營利組織紛紛架設網站,營造屬於機構的存在感,以便推廣其宗旨、目標、產品,及服務,也藉以維護公眾關係。公共圖書館藉由網路作為與服務對象溝通的管道與自我呈現的平台,使圖書館不受時間與空間限制,得以擴大服務項目,拓展服務對象。大眾社會對於組織的社會角色定位,來自於其所提倡與遵循的社會責任,其中包括組織的本質及回饋社會之利益,同樣的,公共圖書館也應關注其所背負之社會責任。有鑑於此,本研究首先探討社會責任的意涵與發展,並探討應用網路於自我呈現的優勢;接著運用網站內容分析法蒐集美國25 所公共圖書館網站所呈現之社會責任概念訊息,並加以詮釋說明出公共圖書館的社會責任類型、數位體裁型式、呈現方式等;最後回歸到自我省思,期望以美國公共圖書館作為模範對象,學習其對於社會責任之融入及參與,不遺餘力的推動各項服務,並以此為目標前進。

Abstract

World Wide Web has become a focus for the popular press, mass communication, and news and media. Both profit and non-profit organizations are taking advantage of the information technology and innovation to promote their own agendas, causes, products, and services. One way the public defines an organization’s stance in society is through the notion of social responsibility and social engagement. This study therefore investigates how public libraries as information services organizations present their goals, define their roles, and articulate their social welfare and the public interests of their stakeholders on their Web presence. Content analysis was performed on 25 public library websites to identify types of social responsibility, intended audience, area of presentation, digital genre and data type. It is hoped that the public libraries under investigation in this study can become the role model in promoting social responsibility and engagement.
