本文主要探討組織文化的意義與發展、分析圖書資訊學界以組織文化為研究主題之相關文獻，並以四篇探究學術圖書館組織文化之博士論文為例，指出中西方學術圖書館組織文化之共同點。

This paper investigates the definition of organizational culture and how it has been developed with reference to four dissertations that focus on academic library organizational culture. An attempt will be made to point out the similarity between American and Taiwanese academic library cultures.

經濟緊縮時代，圖書館與圖書代理商關係的健全發展與維護，不但有助於圖書館採訪作業的推展，圖書館亦可整合代理商所提供的服務來滿足讀者的需求。本文除以文獻分析介紹一般圖書館與圖書代理商關係的相關議題，也提出企業界選擇與特定或少數供應商發展「合夥關係」(partnership)的模式，及網際網路工具的應用，對圖書館與圖書代理商關係之影響與未來發展。

Good relationship between libraries and their suppliers is considered a critical link in the library’s ability to deliver quality service to its users. Owing to the financial constaints of the libraries, effective vendor relationship may be more important today than in previous times. This article will review the historical library-monographic vendor relations, and explore the new trend in Internet era. Especially, business partnership and Internet technology offer a new model to libraries as a basis for a more effective relationship with the vendor and advance the benefit of the library users.

館員乃是圖書館的核心資產，尤其在講求「服務導向」的經濟社會裡，面對科技快速變遷的衝擊，若欲維持與提升圖書館的服務品質，圖書館組織應注意館員的成長與發展等相關議題。但在傳統上圖書館人力資源的管理，較少重視館員之生涯管理，因此本文擬探討圖書館組織實施館員生涯管理制度，建構館員生涯發展系統之重要性，以及做好館員生涯管理所需注意的基本原則。

Managing a librarian’s career development has traditionally been regarded as the responsibility of individual member. However, a library can benefit from librarians’ career development. It is the responsibility of libraries to be concerned about the careers of their employees. This paper discusses career management in organizations from the perspective of matching the needs of individual librarians with the organizational goals of library.

本文旨在探討現代成人圖書館借由學習型組織概念轉塑為學習型圖書館所可能遭遇的困難與努力途徑，期能透過館組織的團隊批判思考、集體意識覺醒、積極反省固有知識與經驗，以及相互交流與學習，共創組織生命韌性與永續成長的力量。文內介紹學習型圖書館的意義，現代圖書館成人服務，現代圖書館組織文化與氣候對組織團隊學習的重要影響，現代圖書館支援成人學習的十一項功能，現代圖書館組織問題分析中的基本結構、專業團隊、館員與資訊及讀者之間的關係，以及藉由對圖書館組織結構與文化、館員個體、專業團隊與館方服務等方面提出邁向學習型圖書館的基本策略。

This paper explores some of the possible difficulties facing the effort for transform an adult library into a learning library. Major aspects concerning learning library such as terms, staff, regulations, culture, adult learning services, problematic analysis and tactics are examined through a total analysis, a series of vehicles for learning library is identified. Modern libraries ought to transform themselves into an organic learning mechanism. It is necessary to have an emancipated mind without ideology in such an era of crisis in order to carry out the ideal of a permanent living library.

圖書館自動化系統的進行過程與實施成效，相當依賴圖書館與系統廠商雙方間的關係統御是否能順利進行。本研究主要從契約管理與社會關係探討兩者間的互動關係，首先藉由文獻閱讀，整理有關契約管理與社會關係之意涵，並藉廠商訪談及問卷調查方法，分析國內圖書館與系統廠商間的互動現況，並探究互動因素與系統運作成效的相關性，最後根據分析結果提出研究建議以供參考。

The progress and effectiveness of library automation system is definitely dependent on the smooth interaction between the library and the system vendor. This article tries to explore this interaction from contractual obligation and social relationship perspectives. Based on questionnaire and interview studies, the results are presented and suggestions are made.

圖書館法是各類型圖書館發展的準據，本篇論文主要目的在明悉資源共享政策條款之結構與功能諸面向問題，並針對我國圖書館法第十三條規定提出修正或調整之建議，俾袪除其窒礙難行之弊。

Library law is the principal basis of the development of all kind of libraries. The main purpose of this article is to understand the structures and functions of resource sharing policy clause. At final, this paper will offer suggestions to help tevise the thirteenth clause in library law.

國內一般數位圖書館網站多是由資料供應單位與系統設計者提出，鮮少考慮使用者的角度。本文以國科會主題計畫網站「淡水河溯源」為例，說明運用多元方法進行使用者評估的實證研究，並試圖提出一個數位圖書館與博物館使用者研究的應用模式。 本研究的假設前提為真正有價值的網站是與使用者的工作生活相融合，因此必須根基於使用者現實世界的資訊需求與行為習慣。本主題網站目標之一為支援鄉土教育，而教學網站包括教與學，擁有教師與學生不同的使用者群，如何設計有價值的教學網站必須兼顧不同使用族群與不同的使用目的與任務，其根基在於深入瞭解他們日常工作生活的現實。本研究的結果在網站建置階段可協助系統及內容建置小組充實其內容並改進介面之設計。

Most digital libraries in Taiwan are designed by content providers and system designers. The purpose of this research attempts to propose a user study model for empirical investigation of web users, using a case study of Taiwan Digital Museum Dan-Shwei River as an example. This article reports the multiple methods used and the results found in this study, including the design principles and some substantial suggestions for practice.
