好用性測試

大學圖書館的使命在於服務所有使用者的資訊需求，然而其網站的使用頻率
和滿足程度卻幾乎未達到一定的標準，使圖書館員的努力和使用者的期待兩者無
法契合。本研究利用「國立臺灣大學圖書館網站」之中文版本進行網站好用性評
估，以瞭解大學圖書館網站的設計現存哪些障礙，及其使用者的想法為何。結果
發現雖然臺大圖書館網站整體並無嚴重的缺漏，但常以專有名詞進行敘述，而導
覽列中的顏色區格亦不明顯，甚至有內容過多導致導覽列過長的現象。本文根據
研究結果歸納建議，提供臺大圖書館網站介面設計改善之參考。

The goal of a university library website is to meet its users’ information needs.
Although librarians endeavor to construct the websites, the users’ satisfaction is still
oftentimes low. Therefore, identifying problems of university library websites and
evaluating the users’ identification with the usability of library websites are important
factors to improve the performance of university library websites.
This study used the Chinese version of National Taiwan University Library
website to conduct usability tests. The results showed that the website often used library
terminology to have prevented users from easy access. In addition, the color contrast
of the navigation bar was not clear enough, with excessive distracting contents to
deter navigation. The results were analyzed to help improve the Chinese version of the
interface design of National Taiwan University Library website.

隨著網際網路的發展以及電子資源的普及，圖書館網站在圖書館業務中扮演
日趨重要的角色。本研究以國立臺灣大學圖書館網站為研究目標，徵集共4 位非
圖書資訊科系的大學四年級學生為受測者，進行好用性測試。測試內容包含17 項
任務，透過觀察紀錄及問卷的施放，了解受測者的使用者經驗。
統整與分析測驗結果，本研究從「網站詞彙」、「指示導引」、「資訊架
構」、「資訊系統」四個層面提出結論，並且根據結論對國立臺灣大學圖書館網
站提出建議。

With the development of the Internet and popularity of E-resources, the library
websites are playing a more significant role. This study chose the National Taiwan
University Library as the target. Four senior students from different majors, excluding
Library and Information Science majors, were solicited for the usability test in this study.
The user experience, realized by the observation and recording, was conducted with the
questionnaires.
The conclusions were divided into four parts: “vocabulary,” “instruction,”
“Information structure,” and “information system.” According to the findings of this
study, suggestions for National Taiwan University Library websites were given to
improve the usability.
