「別史」是史部類例中較晚出現的，在史部的地位亦相當模糊。雖然可以「上不至於正史，下不至於離史」概括說明，卻不易清楚界定其範圍。歷來書目設有別史類者，更是屈指可數。《書目答問》與《四庫全書總目》是近代兩部重要的書目，其史部皆有別史一類。本文乃以此二書目為主，比較其別史類所收圖書分類之異同，希望有助於釐清別史之特性。

The utilization of Bie-shi (alternative histories) as a class in traditional historical classification began in Sung Dynasty. Bie-shi is usually defined as “a category which is not as formal as Zheng-shi (Official Dynastic Histories), but not as casual as Za-shi (Miscellaneous histories).” Still, the meaning and coverage of Bie-shi is not quite clear and well-established. It was not a common category employed in traditional historical classification schemes either. Shu-mu Da-wen (Answers to Inquiries into Bibliography) and Si-ku Quan-shu Zong-mu (Annotated Catalog of the Si-ku Collection) are two important bibliographies in Qing Dynasty. They both employed Bie-shi as a category to classify related works. This study attempts to compare and analyze the historical works that were classified in Bie-shi category of these two bibliographies. The goal is to provide a clearer picture about the characteristics of Bie-shi.

本文的目的主要在分析「合作」對數位化計畫的好處，呼籲國內重視並鼓勵機構與國人能藉助較具數位化經驗的機構，合作協力進行典藏的數位化。本文首先分析合作進行數位化計畫的優點、建立合作關係所需具有的理念，其次介紹國外(以美國為主)基於各種不同目的的合作數位化計畫，以及介紹臺灣進行數位化的現況與成果，並指出個人觀察所見的目前國內數位現況中之問題，最後於結論中邸納國外數位化計畫之特色理念，提供國內參考，並對國內的數位化計畫提出建議，以及呼籲國家應考量五年為期的國家型計畫結束後，如何使用目前各機構計畫永續維護經營的問題，而在政策面有所因應。

This paper explores the advantages of collaboration in digitization projects, with a call on institutions and individuals for more cooperation in collection digitization with better=experienced institutions. I will start with a discussion over the good points in pursuing digitization project collaboratively, raising basic ideas about how to establish partnership, introduce some cooperative digitization projects underway abroad, mainly in the United States, for various purposes, and then return to take a look at Taiwan’s current situation in this field, sharing my own observations on the problems of the national digitization programs in our country. In my conclusion, I will come up with a summary of the merits of other countries' collaborative digitization projects, together with suggestions for the digitization programs in Taiwan. I end will urging our government to adopt policies that will ensure continuity of the digitization project currently carried on in various institutions after the five-year project expires.

楊氏海源閣為清末四大藏書樓之一，其最鼎盛之際曾使海內珍善本集聚海源閣，與瞿氏鐵琴銅劍樓並稱「南瞿北楊」。在其豐富的藏書中，最令人稱道的為宋版四經四史，更另闢專室以藏之，名為「四經四史之齋」。本文除略述楊氏海源閣藏書之來龍去脈，並介紹騎鎮閣之寶四經四史。

Hai Yuan Ge is one of the four important private bibliotheca in late Chi'ng Dynasty. In its heyday, its collects the most important woodblock printing books in China. Among its abundant collections, the most highly valued books are Si Jing Si Shi: four classic books of Confucian canon and four books of Chinese history printed in Sun Dynasty. The purpose of this paper is to introduce Hai Yuan Ge,and its exquisite collection: Si Jing Si Shi.

本研究利用文獻分析方法，逐一探討教學評量的重要性，還有瞭解教學評量的內涵與教學評量的類型，此外，也分別針對資訊素養教學成效與學習成效的評量方法加以探究，並就各種評量方法的實例加以介紹說明，最後再依據文獻分析結果提出結論與建議。著者希望此研究內容與結論，能作為教師及圖書館員規劃資訊素養相關教學活動實施成效評量時的參考，共同為創造更完善之資訊素養課程設計及教學活動而努力。

Aiming to provide teachers and librarians a useful reference instructional activities on information literacy, this study describes the importance of evaluation on instruction and profiles several approaches are contextualized from both teacher and learner perspectives and elaborated with examples. Summary and recommendations are made for implementing these evaluations.

本研究旨在探討大學圖書館館員資訊素養與進修/學習意願的現況，依據2000年美國大學暨研究圖書館學會之「高等教育資訊素養能力標準」(Information Literacy Competency standards for Higher Education)及Eisenberg & Berkowitzn(1988)所提之資訊素養六個養成步驟，將資訊素養分為認知資訊需求、取得所需資訊、評估組織資訊、有效利用資訊、瞭解資訊倫理等層面以及進修學習意願構面，設計「大學圖書館館員資訊素養之研究」調查問卷，經由專家審查與進行預試，以因素分析及信校度考驗修正後，再針對臺灣地區35所公立大學的圖書館館員，採普查方式進行調查，共發出600份問卷，回收375份，有效問卷338份。本研究以敘述性統計、t檢定、單因子變異數分析、皮爾森積差相關及迴歸等方法進行統計分析，再根據研究分析，提出研究結果與建議。

The aims of this study are to investigate the gate of information literacy and learning intention of the academic librarian of the National Universities in Taiwan from the variables of different background, i.e. sex, age, affair, service years, service department, service area, to analyze the correlation between the information literacy and learning intention of the academic librarian. The investigative questionnaires are adopted in this research. The study was aimed at the academic librarian of the 35 National Universities by general inquiry. First, there was a tryout of 150 questionnaires designed according to the evaluation list of the academic librarian information literacy. Then, a series of items, factor and reliability analysis were processed to establish the reliability and validity of the questionnaire. A test of 600 questionnaires was sent to academic librarians. A total of 375 questionnaires were returned and 338 were valid. According to the collected data, the statistical analyses of descriptive analysis, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed.

臺大圖書館藏有乾隆年間萃文書屋出版之木活字版《紅樓夢》一部。此本二十四冊共一百二十回分納於四函之中。始為程偉元(小泉)序，繼以高鶚敘、目錄、像贊，後為正文。其中程序，高敘，第三回頁十下到第四回頁一下，第九回頁一上下皆為補抄。將臺大藏本與北京圖書館出版社影印發行的「程甲本」及「程乙本」比勘，而知一至三回為「程甲本」和「程乙本」之混合，第四回至三十回九十一至一百十五回及一百十七至一百二十回為「程甲本」，三十一至九十回及一百十六回為「程乙本」。但目錄及有少數頁中之特點和用字與「程甲本」、「程乙本」皆不同。《國立臺灣大學普通本線裝書目》所記有誤。

A copy of the wooden movable-type edition of Dream of the Red Chamber iscollected at the National Taiwan University Library, published by Cui-Wen Publisher in the late Qianlong era. The NTU copy has 12 chapters in 24 volumes which are kept in four cases. It begins with a foreword by Cheng Weiyuan (Xiaochuan)and is then followed successively by a preface by Gao E, a list of contents, somepictures with poems, and then the main text. There are a number of handwrittenpages, including the foreword, the preface, page 10 recto of chapter 3 to page 1recto of chapter 4, and also page 1 of chapter 9. In comparison with the reprintedcopies of the authentic Cheng's Version A and Cheng's Version B published by beijingLibrary Press, we have found that in the copy at NTU, chapters 1 to 3 are a mixture of both versions: chapters 4 to 30, 91 to 115 and 117 to 120 are Version A,chapters 31 to 90 and 116 are Version B. Moreover, the list of contents and certainfeatures or wordings in several pages are neither identical to those in Version A norVersion B.

隨著數位影像資源日益增多，愈來愈多的使用者透過圖像檢索系統來查詢圖像資訊，然而根據本人先前針對網路圖像檢索行為研究結果發現，圖像檢索需求與圖像檢索技術的相關研究，似乎呈現各自發展、雙軌並行的現象，欠缺有效的聯繫與整合；此外，過去對於圖像需求的分析也多以特定學科領域中的少數族群為主，欠缺一通用性的架構或模式，來作為圖像使用者研究的基礎。因此本研究擬提出一通用性之檢索需求分析模式，並以此為基礎，分析圖像需求與圖像檢索技術之間的關聯，以探討其作為瞭解圖像需求與提昇圖像檢索效益的可行性。

With substantial increase of image resouces, ,many users use image retrieval systems to access image resources. However, based on the author's previous research, there lacks an integration between image user study and image retrieval technology. Besides, most image user studies were done with special collection of images, or special groups of users. Few research focuses on a large scale and applies to more general-purpose retrieval environment. This paper proposes a general-purpose query analytic model to understand image needs and explore the limitation of current image retrieval technology and feasible enhancements.

大學圖書館提供即時數位參考咨詢服務時，需要瞭解其目標使用者的特質、需求與行為方式，方能增加服務的使用率。從文獻、政策的分析以及實務經驗分享中可以看出方便快速、匿名性是使用者利用即時數位參考咨詢服務的動機，方便快速可說是該服務與生俱來的特色，但缺乏對使用者匿名性的保障則成為使用量的隱形阻力。鑑於使用者對隱私權的注重，大學圖書館於即時數位參考諮詢網頁上貼示使用者隱私政策可宣告圖書館對使用者隱私的尊重及處理方式、吸引謹慎的使用者以及預防不必要之誤會。文中以美國2005年排名前50名的大學為例，檢視提供即時數位參考服務的圖書館之使用者隱私權政策聲明，以瞭解一份專屬與完整的隱私權政策應包含哪些資訊，作者依據12項綜合指標分析之後，據此於文末草擬一份即時數位參考服務使用者之隱私政策聲明稿以供參考。

Understanding target user's inner characteristics and information needs could help librarians pay attention to details that lead to increased use of the service. Live virtual reference(LVR) users value anonymity. A written privacy policy posted on the LVR web page would reassure users of their privacy, attracts vigilant users, and inhibits unnecessary mis understanding. Through investigating library privacy policies of top fifty universities in USA(ranked by U.S. News & World Report 2005), the article attempts to find what information should be included in a dedicated and thorough privacy policy for live virtual reference users. The author examines these privacy policies posted on the university library web sites using 12 self-developed indicators. The article presents a draft privacy statement dedicated to LVR at the end.

本文探討分類不一致對自動分類成效的影響。經由近似文件的自動偵測，以及兩種分類方法針對兩個測試文件集做的比較實驗，本文發現：訓練資料的分類不一致性，即便高達34%，幾乎也不會影響分類器的成效。此項發現，其重要的意涵是，即便過去的研究使用了一致性不高的測試集做實驗，其結論仍舊是有效的。當然，分類不一致性高的資料，拿來訓練後，不管分類器好壞，其得到的分類成效都是比較低的。除了以上發現外，本文也介紹了一套中文分類測試集，免費提供各界研究使用。另外，作者也提出了一套偵測複本或相似文件的可靠方法，與過去的方法比較，此方法可以偵測過去方法所無法偵測到的相似文件。

This article discusses the effect of inconsistency in training data on the performance of text classifiers. Our experiments show that the inconsistency, even reaching a level as high as 34%,hardly affects the effectiveness of he classifiers.Better classifiers perform better independent of duplicates and label inconsistency.The implication is that past experiments(especially on the Reuters-21578 collection) remain valid. In the experiment process,the author proposes a duplicate detection technique that is far more effective than previous ones.A new Chinese test collection for text categorization is also introduced for deneral free download.
