近年來圖書館界十分重視期刊漲價議題，對於期刊出版問題在學術傳播上造成的威脅亦十分關心，Open Access 等新的期刊出版模式也常被討論。但是，對於學術出版的另一重要板塊─專書（學術圖書）則缺乏同等的重視，多數文獻僅提及期刊漲價已對圖書館購買專書的預算造成排擠，至於專書本身的出版問題及其對學術傳播的影響，則鮮少有人探討。本文由學術傳播概念出發，以倚賴專書最深的人文學領域為例，探討專書出版問題的成因，並討論專書出版問題對學術傳播系統可能會造成哪些影響。

During recent years, libraries have paid extra attention to the increased price of periodicals and the serious implications it might have on scholarly communication. New modes of periodical publication such as Open Access have also been widely discussed. However, much less attention has been paid to another important sector of scholarly publishing—monographs (scholarly books). Most literatures only mention the low budget for monographs in libraries rather than the problems related to the publishing of monographs and its influences on scholarly communication. This paper focuses on scholarly communication, and takes as its example the field of humanism which greatly relies on monographs, to discuss the causes of problems related to monograph publishing and analyze the influences of these problems on scholarly communication systems.

網際網路中的電子資訊與傳統圖書館資源差異甚大，在邁入資訊網路社會的現在，國內各圖書資訊學系紛紛提供網路資源相關課程，期望學生在未來工作崗位上能夠勝任。本研究的目的為：一、調查國內外圖書資訊學相關系（所）開授「網路資源」相關課程的內容。二、調查我國開授「網路資源」相關課程之教師對課程的意見與建議。三、根據調查結果提出建議，做為我國圖書資訊學相關系（所）開授「網路資源」相關課程時之參考。

Considerable differences exist between information resources on the Internet and those in the traditional libraries. In order to train students to be qualified for future work in the coming era of information network, most of the Department of Library and Information Science in Taiwan’s universities offer Internet Resources related courses. The purposes for this study are: 1) to study the content of "Internet Resources" related courses ; 2) to investigate lecturers' opinions and suggestions about these courses; and 3) to formulate suggestions for related courses in the future.

網際網路中的電子資訊與傳統圖書館資源差異甚大，在邁入資訊網路社會的現在，圖書館有必要去了解網路資源對讀者的影響，並深入探討網路資源利用教育的內涵與方法，以滿足讀者的需求並發揮圖書館教育的功能。國外已有許多文獻探討網際網路利用教育的課程、教學、實施與評鑑各方面，而國內在這方面的研究則尚在起步階段。本研究主要目的在於瞭解目前我國大學校院圖書館實施網路資源利用教育的情形，期能進一步提出建議，以做為圖書館界未來進行網路資源利用教育的參考。

Many differences exist between information resources on the Internet and those in traditional libraries. In order to satisfy user needs and to achieve the functions of education in the coming era of information network, libraries have to explore the influences of Internet resources on the readers as well as to survey the contents and methods of user education of Internet resources. This area of study is relatively new in Taiwan, thus the author would examine the present situation of user education of Internet resources in the university and college libraries in Taiwan and then provide some suggestions for the future studies in this field.

網際網路已在全球蔚為風尚，然而，內涵品質卻良莠不齊。為了提升網際網路的優質文化，博物館將其典藏品數位化，並放置於網路中供人取閱瀏覽是相當必要的。本文旨在探討博物館典藏品的種類與特質、並說明目前國內外為博物館藏品數位化制訂詮釋資料的發展，以供本國博物館界制訂詮釋資料時做為參考。

Internet has become a worldwide trend; however, quality of contents varies greatly. In an effort to enhance and improve the web contents, it is very important to digitize museum collections. This paper discusses the types and attributes of museum collections, and the development of metadata for digital museum collections, thus to provide some reference for Taiwan’s museum community in formulating its metadata.

數位內容產業目前逐漸成為炙手可熱的產業，大量資源競相投入，但基於其知識經濟的特性，優秀人才投入與否是產業發展之關鍵之一，而人才培育實非一蹴可幾，有賴政策及培訓機構的決心，及業界充分配合，打造產業適用之人力。 本研究以數位內容產業領導廠商為研究對象，以深度訪談與焦點座談方式進行研究，調查數位內容產業不同領域的人力結構、需求、人才層級、核心能力、需求急迫性、及人才延攬與培育方式。最後，提出產業之人才發展策略，做為數位內容學院人才培育方向之參考。

The digital content industry has emerged as an important part of the knowledge economy. While designating the digital content industry as one of the two flagship industries for its future, the Taiwanese government is also building a Digital Content Institute (DCI) to coordinate the effort of ensuring the availability of a highly versatile and multi-talented workforce that is crucial for the industry to succeed. The DCI, not designed as a regular educational institution, is under the Ministry of Economic Affairs and is responsible for producing enough skilled manpower to expedite the development of the industry.This paper reports a study of the current status of the human resource development of the digital content industry in Taiwan. The research is base on in-depth interviews of the leading companies in Taiwan to investigate on the human resource structure, job requirements and urgency, talent levels, core competencies, as well as recruitments and training methods in different sectors of the digital content industry. The findings were summarized and human resource development strategy was laid out and presented to DCI for their reference.

在臺灣，大學出版社之發展已近50年，然而，各大學出版社受限於資源有限，內、外部環境之困難而發展不易。本研究以臺大出版中心為個案，探討其發展歷程與未來之展望，期望作為臺灣的大學出版社發展之參考。
首先說明臺灣圖書出版之概況，並呈現臺灣的大學出版社發展之源流；其次描述臺大出版中心發展歷程、經營現況與面臨之挑戰；進而分析臺大出版中心重要之發展議題、未來發展方向與具體發展策略。研究顯示雖然面對各種挑戰，然而，臺大出版中心仍有發展的利基與機會。

University presses have been in existence in Taiwan for almost fifty years; however, their growth has been restrained due to limited resources and difficult internal and external circumstances. This paper will make recommendations for the further development of university presses by examining the history and future outlook of the National Taiwan University Press.

The paper will first survey the current situation of the book publishing industry and then trace the development of
university presses in Taiwan. The paper will describe National Taiwan University Press's history, its current situation, and the challenges it faces as it formulates strategies for its future development.

近年來，原住民族知識組織架構愈來愈受各界的關注與重視，然而由於過去原住民族知識大多皆以口傳為主，少有文字記載，故原住民族知識組織架構建構之不完整性是可想而知的。而目前《中國圖書分類法》中有關臺灣原住民族知識的相關分類又相當粗略，其中針對原住民族的敘述，僅止於以原住民族群進行分類，其他有關原住民族之主題面向則被分散列於類表中的相關分類號下；此分類法用於原住民族相關文獻的分類上，確有許多不足之處。
為因應此劃時代之趨勢以及臺灣原住民族圖書資訊中心之需求，本研究擬於建構整個臺灣原住民族知識組織架構時，從上層架構著手，透過人類學領域之學者專家、原住民身份學者專家，以及圖書資訊學專家，三方面整合互動式的參與，共同將上層架構主軸確立，以便未來進一步分工合作，讓各領域專家可以建置不同主題面向的原住民族知識；此外，更期盼此上層知識組織架構建置完成後，能提供臺灣原住民族圖書資訊中心一個比較符合原住民族觀點的專屬分類系統，以便未來該中心在分類原住民族相關知識時之參考。

In the past several years, the aboriginal knowledge organization structure has received a respectable amount of attention. However, aboriginal knowledge is commonly spread by oral tradition and rarely through writing. With regards to such behavior, it is understandable that the aboriginal knowledge organization structure is incomplete. Currently, the classification of Taiwan's aboriginal knowledge in the New Classification Scheme for Chinese Libraries is still roughly sorted with descriptions of aborigines classified simply by tribe while other subject matters and aspects relating to the indigenous people are scattered under the classification number of relevant subjects. It is clear that applying this type of classification on aboriginal documents and records has quite a number of inadequacies.
Responding to contemporary trends in information management and to the needs of Taiwan's Indigenous Peoples Resource Center, this research aims to detail Taiwan's aboriginal knowledge organization structure starting with the upper-level structure, and through the integrated and interactive participation of aboriginal scholars, anthropologists, and professionals in library and information sciences., the core of the upper-level structure is established and confirmed. In this way, further work division and collaboration is possible, and aboriginal knowledge with different themes and facets can be classified by experts of different fields. This research hopes to provide Taiwan's Indigenous Peoples Resource Center with a classification system that can correspond more to the indigenous people's point of view and also serve as future reference for the Center.

當數位時代來臨，數位出版成為全球出版產業的發展趨勢。鑑於數位出版的重要性，本研究以學術性政府出版品為範圍，透過文獻分析及深度訪談，探討數位出版授權模式的相關議題，並提出結論與建議供政府相關單位參考。

When the digital era dawns, the digital publishing becomes the global trend of publishing industry. In view of the importance of digital publishing, the research will cover government academic publications as its range, investigate the digital licensing related issues through literature reviews and in-depth interviews, and propose the conclusions and recommendations as reference for various government agencies.

機構典藏系統的建置，除了保存了機構的學術成果，也提供使用者一個新的學術研究管道。臺灣學術機構典藏系統在現有架構下搭建出一個整合的機構典藏交流平台，可以分享臺灣各大學校院豐富的學術研究成果，並提昇臺灣在國際之學術能見度。本文主要探討臺灣的學術機構典藏之推展，並提出建議以供相關單位參考。

Establishing institutional repositories can preserve research achievements and also provide users with a new channel for academic research. The Taiwan Academic Institutional Repository (TAIR) has created an integrated platform for institutional repository interflow. Incorporating already existing networks, TAIR enables users to access the wealth of research achievements accumulated by Taiwan’s universities and colleges, promoting the international profile of the nation in the academic field. This article seeks to introduce the development of institutional repositories in Taiwan and propose future goals for their promotion and evelopment.
